Step 1: Choose your campaign topic
Before launching a new campaign, the first step is to choose an engaging topic that will resonate with your target audience.
Recently, we decided to run a campaign to equip event marketers with relevant and helpful resources for 2025 event planning. To start, we wanted to address a common event marketing challenge — how to ask leadership for budget.
In the steps below, we’ll walk through how we used existing events and podcasts to create a brand-new blog post and how you can too.

Step 2: Use AI Search to create a multimedia blog post from past event recordings
With our campaign topic in mind, we were ready to create a new blog post.
But, why start from scratch?
Using Goldcast’s AI Search, a feature within Content Lab, you can easily search for topics and themes across your video library, identify existing assets, and turn them into new content pieces.
The Goldcast algorithm sorts through all existing video assets to help you create new content in a snap, so you can say goodbye to the days of manually culling through past footage.
Repurpose Content In Minutes
Turn video recordings into complete blog posts.
Here’s how it works.
- Specify the content inputs: Decide if you want to find clips, generate social posts, or create blog posts. For this example, we chose to generate a blog post.
- Enter a search term, keyword, topic, or theme: To develop our campaign content piece, we searched for, “getting more budget, convincing your CRO, and yearly planning.”
- Refine your content sources: Once you’ve made the above selections, you’ll see content appear. You can choose to include or exclude related videos.
- Edit your new content asset: In this case, we will make small tweaks to create a ready-to-publish blog post, but more on that in the next step!

You can also revisit past searches using Search History, making it easy to pick up where you left off!
Step 3: Adjust your blog voice and tone in Content Lab
You have a comprehensive blog post with interesting and relevant text and video.
Now, the last step is to tweak the post to make it look and feel like your brand. Thankfully, AI has done the heavy lifting, but you can add the final touch.
In Content Lab, you can specify the tone and voice to ensure content consistency. For tone of voice, you can choose between professional, helpful, conversational, informative, friendly, or playful. During the blog creation process, you can also select your desired text length (short, medium, or long), and even include a specific prompt.

After you’ve made a few adjustments, voilà – you have a new blog post. Add it to your CMS and share your content with the world!
Here's the blog we created based on the above process.
