2022 is off to a hot start here at Goldcast, and we’ve already rolled out several new updates to start the new year with a bang. Let’s take a look at three new features that are now live in the Goldcast platform. Keep reading for the deets! 👇

First up—a quick change to our speakers list. You can now easily hide speakers from the speaker list and the agenda tab! All you have is click the “hide speaker” icon next to their name on the Speakers tab in the Space section.

The feature is super helpful if you have a surprise speaker, or just need a support person to have access to the backstage area, but not be visible to attendees on the Speakers list.

Next, we’ve got captions and subtitles. We now support live speech-to-text captions for Goldcast events hosted in several languages, including English, Spanish, German, and more!

Organizers can also enable subtitles, which are simply translations of captions, into any of our supported languages.

Once enabled for your event, all your attendees have to do is hover over the stage and click the "cc" button to turn on captions, and then select a language from a drop-down.

Next, we’ve a fun new interactive feature for you game lovers. We’ve partnered with Engamio to further incentivize event engagement!

Engamio comes with 4 engagers: an interactive map, a fun image puzzle which you can customize, a word search game, and a selfie booth - any of which you can easily embed right inside of your Goldcast event.

And don’t worry about attendees getting distracted — the presenter screen and content are still streamed while folks play away!
